A little about our creator April Wu (@missaprilwu)
April holds a Master’s degree in Bilingual Education and has been a Mandarin dual-language immersion teacher for 10+ years. Through her years of teaching, she has recognised how limited resources make it challenging to raise multilingual children in the U.S. She is now a new mother and has been thinking about how to create a meaningful language environment for her daughter - one that nurtures a love for the Chinese and Spanish language and culture.
These experiences have led to her passion project - Seedlingo, a brand that supports the raising of multilingual and multicultural children. She has been inspired to create educational language products curated for non-native learners. The end goal is fun, engaging, and meaningful learning to have a lasting impact on children’s language development. Visit seedlingo.co to learn more.
April is passionate about multilingualism and shares bilingual parenting tips and resources as well as Mandarin language and culture content on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
Thank you April for creating this for the community!
